Before you choose
Do I need to start a trial?
No. Unlimited passwords, AutoFill, built-in 2FA, and the other Free features above work without a subscription. Pro offers a 7-day free trial to eligible new subscribers. The app and Apple purchase sheet show your local annual price and eligibility before you confirm. Pro renews automatically unless cancelled; see the subscription terms.
Can I try importing before paying?
Yes. Import and encrypted backup export are free. Follow the switching guide, verify important entries and a real AutoFill sign-in, and keep your old manager available while you check the result.
Will all my data transfer?
That depends on the source and export format. CSV does not transfer passkeys, and exports may omit attachments or custom fields. Review passwords, notes, and verification codes separately. The format guide explains the starting points and limits.
Do I need iCloud or an account?
No RookPass account is required. Your vault works locally; encrypted iCloud sync is optional. Network features such as breach checks and Rook Send are explained in the privacy policy.
